We collect information you provide directly when you create an account (name and email address) and when you use the app (credit card details such as card name, bank name, last 4 digits, credit limit, and billing dates). We do not collect or store full card numbers, CVVs, or any payment credentials.
2How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely to provide the MyCards Manager service — displaying your card summaries, calculating utilisation, sending payment reminders, and generating spending reports. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
3Data Storage and Security
All data is stored in a secured database accessible only to your authenticated account. We enforce HTTPS on all connections, apply strict HTTP security headers (HSTS, CSP, X-Frame-Options), and validate every API request against your session. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
4Payment Reminders and Email
If you enable payment reminders, we will send reminder emails to the address associated with your account. You can disable reminders at any time from the Reminders page. We do not use your email address for marketing communications.
5Cookies and Sessions
We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. This cookie is HttpOnly and is not accessible to JavaScript. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
6Your Rights
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. You may also export or review your data on request. We will respond to all data requests within 30 days.
7Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the 'Last Updated' date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
